TMG General Manager

Sydney born and Pittwater raised, Alex spent his childhood exploring the waterways of Sydney and Broken Bay and has led to a love for life on the water.

Alex has spent his professional life in the automotive industry. Representing some of the world’s best brands, he was naturally drawn to Lagoon!

“To represent the worlds best manufacturer of catamarans is a humbling honour. The build quality, attention to detail and consideration that has gone into the layout, it’s clear they have been designed (and built) by a team with vast experience.”

Alex has 4 young children which he looks forward to introducing to sailing.

“Having grown up on-board a very old, timber yacht, I am blown away by the volume of the Lagoon range. That, added with the cruising performance makes the Lagoon the ultimate home away from home… something that I would have loved all those years ago!”

John Cowpe

TMG Managing Director

Entrepreneur John Cowpe was born to be on the water. Growing up on the west coast of Scotland in the town of Fairlie, famous for Fife Yachts, it’s only fitting really that John’s career has seen him sail yachts around the world, working and living his dream.

John’s earliest memories revolve around the sea and family holidays on small boats, and as he grew up he took up windsurfing, dinghy sailing, racing and working within the industry.

“Seeing all aspects of the sport from cruising to racing to moving from country to country, for me really drove home how multi-faceted it is as an activity,” says John. Read more

Sales and Service Support

Joe Fox is uniquely positioned to be in Service and Support at TMG. Growing up sailing dinghies and small catamarans, his love of the water and the marine industry saw him complete a degree in Navigation and Maritime Science at Plymouth University.

“With a particular interest in catamarans becoming involved with The Multihull Group was a dream come true. I love sharing my passion with others wanting to get into cruising the globe on luxury cats.”

“Western Australia is a vast remote coast with huge distances between fuel stops and facilities, the range offered by catamarans make perfect sense for our waters.”

Group Service Manager

Since becoming the youngest person to own a boat license in WA, Clinton Davies has worked within the marine industry from the ripe age of 16, working on ferries all over the country. With his Master 24 and MED 2, Clinton also has experience on large superyachts, being captain engineer for Cambria II for 2.5 years.

Clinton doesn’t remember a time he hasn’t had a boat, recounting fond memories with the family sleeping aboard their 20ft yacht at Rottnest Island, which he would call his “second home”. More recently he and his wife lived aboard their own cat for 2 years travelling up the East Coast from Sydney to the Whitsundays.

“Having sailed cats myself and having a real passion for these boats, I have a great appreciation for the quality, finish and layout Lagoons and the rest of the TMG range has to offer. I am thrilled to be working with such a great brand,” says Clinton.
